Just one Procell Microchanneling treatment creates hundreds of thousands of microchannels in your skin! If you’ve ever had a microneedling session, Microchanneling may sound familiar. However, this treatment takes microneedling to the next level by lessening trauma and improving results.
What is Procell Microchanneling?
This minimally-invasive, rejuvenating skin treatment offers a wealth of benefits for a bunch of skin concerns! Similar to a regular microneedling treatment, needles are used to create small channels in your skin that promote collagen production.
Collagen promoting skin treatment
Procell Microchanneling goes a step further than microneedling. Procell growth-factor serums made from stem cells are used to boost your skin’s collagen response and limit your downtime after the treatment. The growth factors and ingredients in the medical grade serums add anti-aging, anti-inflammatory, and pro-healing benefits into your skin.
Multiple sizes and tip lengths
In order to give your skin a personalized treatment, Procell offers different needle lengths and tip sizes. Your aesthetician selects and utilizes these different tips based on the skin concern and area on the face or body to be treated during your appointment.
The benefits of Procell Microchanneling
No matter the concerns you have for your skin, Procell Microchanneling provides a variety of benefits. Your skin is completely rejuvenated without damaging your skin, and with minimal downtime.
Innovative treatment process
No other skin treatment is identical to Procell Microchanneling. Procell Therapies was started in 2013 with a focus on providing anti-aging results without the damaging effects of other anti-aging treatments. With that focus in mind, Microchanneling was created to treat your skin more effectively, but with less trauma.
Treats a variety of skin concerns
After tons of research and study, the technology used in Procell Microchanneling and serums were unveiled to treat almost all skin concerns. Microchanneling helps your skin remove these issues:
Fine lines, wrinkles, and other signs of aging
Acne and surgical scars, and stretch marks
Rosacea, hyperpigmentation, and other uneven skin tone and texture issues
Lost elasticity or dull complexion as a result of age
Some people are not suitable candidates for the treatment. If you have any of the following, you may not be able to receive Microchanneling:
Eczema, psoriasis, or keloid scars on the treatment area
Open wounds or infection
Any stage of pregnancy
A bleeding disorder such as hemophilia
Painless and minimally invasive
Often, once clients hear that needles are involved they assume that their experience will be painful. This isn’t the case with Procell Microchanneling! Before your session begins, your aesthetician applies a numbing cream to the area that is about to be treated. You may feel slight discomfort at the feeling, but there should be no pain after the numbing cream takes effect.
Steps to the Procell Microchanneling process
There are three main steps to the process of Microchanneling. The first is to create microchannels in your skin. This stimulates the skin’s natural healing response, and allows for deep absorption of the serums that are applied. As the
skin heals with the serums, it is more smooth, more even, and looking youthful.
Create microchannels
Initially, your skin is cleansed by your aesthetician to prep the skin for treatment. Next, numbing cream is applied (if needed) to minimize any discomfort. After the numbing cream takes effect and is removed, a nourishing growth factor serum is applied and the treatment will begin. Your aesthetician uses the Procell Therapies device and Microchanneling tips to create microchannels over your skin. Serums are delivered to depths within the skin where they would normally not be able to penetrate by topical application alone.
Stimulate healing response
As the microchannels are being created on your skin, the Procell Therapies device is delivering its healing and renewal serums into your pores. The microchannels already activate your skin’s natural healing response, but the serums provide additional healing properties. The increased collagen and elastin production
increases the thickness and elasticity of your skin.
Smooth healed skin
To complete the treatment, a hyaluronic acid sheet mask will be applied to the skin for about 15 minutes and aids in quickening the healing process, lessening inflammation, and reducing downtime.
Results, aftercare and downtime after Procell Microchanneling
Procell Microchanneling is truly the next generation of microneedling treatment. The results are amplified, the aftercare is minimal, and there’s no downtime to worry about! With just one session, you’ll be able to notice a change in your skin.
When to expect results
Optimal results, as with any skincare treatment, are achieved with anywhere from three to six sessions. However, if you’re interested in a great single treatment, anti-aging, rejuvenation option, Microchanneling is perfect. Additionally, the results from this treatment can last years depending on your lifestyle and skincare routine.
Follow proper aftercare procedure
There is no downtime with Microchanneling, but the area treated should not be touched for 90 minutes after treatment. Exfoliation, direct sunlight, and sweat-inducing exercise should be avoided for the next 48 hours. It is advisable that makeup be avoided until the following day. Listen to any additional advice your aesthetician gives you for your skin and aftercare!
